Coaches

Carolyn Bland - Head Coach and High Performance Seniors

Carolyn received the AVA Trainer of the Year 2006 and 2011. Her involvement in vaulting has been insumountable to the welfare and the training of vaulting horses. She also enjoys teaching the beginner class and tiny tots, who learn the fundementals of horse care, fitness and vaulting in a safe and fun enviroment. Carolyn earned a gold medal at the World Equestrian Games in 2010, and a bronze medal at the 2017 Junior World Championships. She is an active member of the USEF High Performance committee and is the current appointed the AVA VP of Education. Carolyn now coaches the Senior high performance vaulters to help them in their goals of reaching the 2018 World Equestrian Games.

Kristian Roberts - High Performance Juniors/ Trot

Kristian is a High Performance vaulter himself, representing the USA since 2010 at World Championships. He is an elite gymnast with experience in teaching athletes of all levels. Kristian has completed the USEF Safe Sport policies training and is currently coaching athletes for the Junior World championships 2019.

Daniel Janes - High Performance Juniors and Copper/Bronze

Daniel a High Performance Vaulter himself, joined PCV from Warm Beach Vaulters Washington. Daniel brings a knowledge of biomechanics and dance to PCV. With his emphasis on artist performance. Daniel is currently coaching Juniors and Junior squad.

Haley Smith - Beginners
Haley joined the coaching staff this year as the beginning vaulter coach. She has patience and knows how to make classes fun, while still learning the sport of vaulting. Haley is also part of the riding staff at PCV and hopes to compete in Dressage.
